Turning Leaf

Shot in an English Country Park that has been landscaped for the last couple of hundred years. The building is a folly, the views spectacular and the bride and groom beautiful. Shot at 11mm on a Canon 11-24mm f/4L lens with a Canon 1DX Mark II. I Agree with Ken Rockwell that ultra wide angle lenses are about what is kept out and not about getting everything in. Possibly a test paper with the word “discuss” at the end ūüėČ ¬†Enjoy

Chips with Everything

Chips with Everything

After a day out climbing on the sea cliffs, nothing could be better than staying behind to have some chips and do a little night photography

Photography Takes you places, Portland on Britain’s southern coast in this case.

Taken recently as part of a series of images during a teaching session on night photography. This is similar to the image “Mellow Yellow” that is on this site but I thought it was useful to demonstrate a small change in the elements at are being photographed can (for me) impact on the feel and mood of an image. This is definitely one of favourite images and I hope you also enjoy it.
